Adolescents

I am passionate about working with adolescents and advocating for their needs. I believe that teenagers are often misunderstood and that they are willing to be open, honest, and vulnerable if we approach them with authenticity and honesty.

In my work with teenagers, I utilize therapeutic games and incorporate techniques such as ACT, CBT, and EMDR. I approach each adolescent with curiosity and strive to understand their unique perspective. Some common issues I work with are:

  • Parental Divorce

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Social skills

  • Behaviour issues at home/school

  • Bullying

  • Screen time battles

  • Self-Harm

  • Suicidal Intent

  • School Refusal

  • Trauma

When working with adolescents, I also collaborate closely with parents, as they can be significant influencers of change.

Sessions typically last 50 minutes and can be conducted face-to-face or online. A sliding scale fee is available for individuals experiencing financial difficulties
